Mediterranean salad is usually made using Mediterranean greens, black olives, fresh thyme and feta cheese. However, nowadays, every salad that contains only black olives, thyme and feta cheese is falsely called Mediterranean salad. Follow our recipe for the real deal.

Tricks: If your stomach is sensitive to green leafy vegetables, you can remove it from the recipe and add any other ingredients of your choice. If you want to prepare the recipe for more than 1 person, you only need to increase it by 1.5 times. If you have a party, prepare it ahead and you can pour the dressing on the table. If you mix the dressing in too early, the ingredients will start to soften and wrinkle.

Let’s begin with the recipe!

Preparation Time: 10-15 min.
Servings: 1 Serving

3 Cherry Tomatoes (diced)
3 Yellow Cherry Tomatoes (diced)
1 Large Cucumber (Small Diced)
4 Black Olives
¼ Red Onion (Julienne)
4 Leaves of Arugula (Chopped)
1 Thick Slice of Feta Cheese (Small Diced)

For dressing:
2 Tsp Lemon Juice
1 Tsp Olive Oil
1 Pinch Salt
1 Pinch Black Pepper
1 Pinch Thyme

Combine all of your salad ingredients in a medium mixing bowl. Then, in a small bowl, whisk the olive oil, lemon juice, thyme, salt, and black pepper. Pour the dressing over the salad and toss until it’s mixed well. Then, you can serve and enjoy your meal!

Bon Appetit!
